I’m passionate about CrossFit and helping others reach their goals. I began my fitness journey after earning a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Lamar University in 2010. Since 2011, I've worked as a personal trainer, witnessing the life-changing impact of CrossFit. I’m excited to bring health back to Summerwood!

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning system built on constantly varied functional movements executed at a high intensity. These movements include a combination of metabolic conditioning, gymnastics, and weightlifting.

CrossFit is a program for all ability and experience levels, designed for universal scalability, which makes it perfect for any individual committed to achieving their own personal version of excellence in fitness! The same routines are used for everyone; the load and intensity of the program is scaled for the individual, but the workout remains the same for all.

Classes are run by professional CrossFit-Certified coaches who are committed to teaching proper technique, encouraging intensity, and maintaining class structure.
No need for you to "know what you are doing" before you try a class! Our coaches will help you every step of the way!

The community that forms around doing CrossFit workouts is central to CrossFit’s effectiveness. A CrossFit gym is unlike any other gym! People from all walks of life end up in a class together, sweat together, and push together during various workouts. Through these experiences’ walls are broken and friendships are made.
